Warp knitted weft insert fusible interlining is a dimensionally stable, high-strength fusible interlining engineered for applications requiring excellent shape retention without sacrificing flexibility.
This interlining is made of 100% polyester fiber. It adopts double dot coating as the mainstream coating method, and optional adhesive coating include PES, PA and mixed PES+PA. Its grammage ranges from 36gsm to 65gsm, featuring soft handfeel and smooth fabric surface. With superior tensile strength and outstanding anti-shrink performance, this product is widely used as garment interlining and embroidery backing.
The base fabric is produced using warp knitting technology with weft insertion, creating a special composite structure that perfectly combines the stable shaping property of woven fabrics with the softness and elegant drape of knitted materials. Customers can freely adjust the coating adhesive weight to match different production requirements.
The unique warp-knitted weft-insert construction offers ultra-low longitudinal stretch while providing moderate, controllable transverse elasticity, making this interlining ideal for medium-weight outer fabrics such as suitings, jackets, trousers, skirts, overcoats and uniform fabrics. The adhesive coating delivers stable and long-lasting adhesion, boasts great resistance to repeated washing and dry cleaning, and effectively avoids glue strike-through and glue bleed-out problems. It strengthens the three-dimensional silhouette and crisp structural sense of garments, yet keeps a comfortable soft touch without hardening the fabric surface.
Typical applications include front facings, lapels, waistbands, pocket linings and various reinforcement panels in formal tailored garments.
Standard fusing parameters: temperature 130–150°C, pressure 2–4 bar, pressing time 12–15 seconds.
This interlining comes in off white, snow white, gray and black, with a standard width of 60 inches and roll lengths ranging from 30 to 100 meters/yards.
